A digital type specimen book on the infamous typeface that we all know and love to hate: Comic Sans. Since Comic Sans is despised largely for its misuse, with this project, I want to humorously highlight the “do’s and don’ts”—when it is appropriate to use the font, and especially, when it is not. I use playful, colorful design styles that bring to mind childhood and the nostalgia of the internet, which Comic Sans always makes me reminisce on. I hope to prove that Comic Sans is not some harbinger of evil that we should always avoid unconditionally; there is a time and a place for the silly little thing, even if those times are, rightly, situational and uncommon!
